This property is very dated, it was fairly clean but, very old hotel. Also, did not like Santa Cruz at all. Drive a few miles further south and stay in Capitola!!

No breakfast no coffee nobody at the front desk to even help you had cops come on Saturday night. It was awful. There was a convenience of being right kind of by the water. I didn’t have to walk too far.

The property is perfectly located in walking distance to both the boardwalk and wharf. The staff were very accommodating during our stay. The beds are very uncomfortable.

Exactly what I was hoping for a beautiful room very large with a great view of the pier. Thank you very much

The service was so friendly, the room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was more comfortable than a hotel in this price range normally would be. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. The key cards were finicky and I had to get my card rekeyed several times during my stay. Don’t put your key close to your phone.

The location was perfect. We wanted a place close to the beach due to the Ironman event we were attending and participating in. We really enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants as well. It became a hassle to have to get our keys reset every few hours. It's a very outdated system and we were very good at keeping our keys away from anything magnetic (phones, etc.). It was fine a couple of times, but I had to go back OFTEN to get into my room.
