There where issues with main room as well 2nd room had issues of hallways light shooting in room an on bed sleeping was as great

The hotel is basic, but we got a super good price for a 1 night with free coffee and tea in the morning. It is centrally located right next to Union Square. Fabulous for a quick trip in the city. Room is super clean, but small, so no space to 'hang out', but they have a nice coffee area in the bottom of the hotel.

Front desk staff is pleasant and helpful, location is close to BART, cable cars and Union Square. However, don't expect too much more than a basic place to sleep that's reasonably priced. Rooms are small but you don't spend much time there.

I've stayed there before so I knew it well. Also it is right next door to the Mason St Cafe. Perfect location for downtown and BART. Nothing!

This was an older property and the neighborhood is a little sketchy at night, but it is walkable and close to many restaurants. The hotel is older but it is clean with modern amenities. The bathroom was a little cluttered but it was a clean room with a comfortable bed.

The hotel is heated by a boiler in the basement supplying steam radiators. It was cool in my room - no heat. Great location. Many dining options. Close to BART and bus lines.

Pretty decent hotel for what I needed that weekend. Basically just used it to sleep and get ready for Portola and the proximity to public transit was super nice.

Great location and affordable price. It was clean, but still felt musty and the carpets were pretty gross. Because of that, it’s not the most comfortable place to stay.

No mini fridge or AC in the room. I did not know this before booking.

Nice property. Best to get a room toward the back as you can hear traffic closer to the street.
